• What is Turlytag?
  Would you pay 2 bucks to get your phone back? We all have lots of things that we would rather not lose, iphones, ipads, blackberries, and keys, luggage, laptops or your treasured journal. Imagine someone could immediately track you down whenever one of your things was lost and found, now imagine it could be done while protecting your privacy. Think of it as a homing beacon for your stuff. TurlyTag is a service that helps protect the things you could lose day-to-day and at the same time preserve your identity. Turlytag let's you label all the things you might lose, get instant communication from anyone that finds your stuff and then handle all the details involved in getting your stuff back to you when it's found.

• How does it work?
  Once you order your tags at Turlytag, All you have to do is attach a tag to everything that you think you could lose. Don't be shy, if you run out of tags, you can easily get more. Then, you'll have to let us know the best way to reach you when something is found, SMS, email and phone. Think of it as a backup contact list for your favourite things, then include add your mom, your wife, boyfriend, little brother, secretary and best friend, whoever you would trust with your stuff.

• How much does it cost?

  We offer tags for all sized needs. The basic return kit costs $5 per per month period. We include 14 tags and replace them whenever you need to. 

• Where do I start?
  Go to Turlytag.com, setup your account, we'll ship you lots of tags, you label all your stuff. It's that simple.

• How do I register my labels?
  Login to your account on turlytag.com, locate the unique ID on your tags, enter the unique ID along with the best ways to contact you and your contact backups once your lost item is found, then you're done.

Lost Items

• What do I do when I lose an item I've tagged?
  Most people want to do the right thing, but sometimes a little incentive goes a long way. Login to your account on Turlytag.com, and sweeten the pot by adding to the reward that we already offer. While you are there, check your contact information to make sure we can get a hold of you if someone finds your stuff.

• How does my stuff get back to me?
  Once you have an account on Turlytag, we get you started with an allowance to pay for shipping your items back to you. When your tagged item is found, we contact you to arrange for shipping. If the costs exceed your remaining allowance, you just have to pay the difference. We take care of the rest. We send a prepaid shipping label to the Finder, they can then arrange for a UPS pickup or drop it in at any United States Post Office. It's that simple.

• How long does it take to get my stuff back?
  We normally ship via ground, US postal service, but you can request expedited shipping. Just use your remaining return shipping allowance and pay the difference if there is one. Remember to start counting shipping days from when the finder gets it to the mail service.

• Who pays for shipping?
  Once you create an account, Turlytag provides an return shipping allowance to help handle shipping your things back once they are found. If the costs exceed your allowance, you just have to pay the difference. That way when someone finds your tagged kayak we can help you arrange to get it back

• I've found and item that has a TurlyTag on it. How do I report it and get it back to its owner?

Tagging

• How many items can I tag?
  The basic return kit lets you tag a bunch of your prized possessions. With lifetime tag replacements. Tag your favourite things or share them with your kids, lovie or roommate. The idea is to make it easy to get your things back and you never know what you might lose next. Get tagging!

• What items do most people tag?
  Anything is game, luggage, laptops, phones, PDA's, iPads, clothes, journals, sunglasses, keys, books, bikes or pets, you name it. If you can lose it, you can tag it.

• Can I tag my family's things?
  Yes, in fact were counting on it. Our service only works if you tag the things you might lose. You choose the tagpack right for you and we make sure you have the right amount of tags to label all your best stuff. The jumbo pack let's you tag up to 65 goodies, so you won't have to make a decision about which items are most important. If you think you of your family might lose something, put a tag on it just in case.

• How can I give tags as a present?
  Yes, yes. Good Karma is a thing worth sharing. When placing an order, just check the send as a gift button during checkout and enter the information of your Good Karma recipient. Or you can just hand someone a whole sheet of tags that you haven't registered. They can then sign on, create their own account and start tagging. Simple.

• Will the tags work for back to school?
  Turlytags are a great way to keep your kids things out of the lost and found pile. Books, backpacks, clothes, calculators, phones, laptops, hairdryers, racquets and bats. There is no end to the things a kid can lose. Send them off with all the help you can, god knows they need it.

• I haven't received an SMS confirmation.
  Please make sure you have entered you phone number correctly in your account settings.

General Turlytag Issues

• I haven't received a confirmation email.
  The most likely reason for not receiving a confirmation email is that our email was filtered by a spam blocker. If you check the location where your "spam" is stored you should find the email containing the confirmation number. If you are still unable to find the email please remove us from the blocked list and file a support claim so we can assist your further.

Privacy

• Is my personal information confidential?
  We never sell, rent or lease the information you provide to us. Period!
